This is The Shioji Limited Express (abolished). Shioji means the "Tideway".
The 485 series has been used for limited express trains. Even now you can find the set especially in Hokuriku area.
The wedgelike body is originated in its prototype - the 151 series. But unfortunately this kind of wedgy body is now used only for the Noto Express from Kanazawa to Ueno.
By the way, the 151's had been running from Osaka to Tokyo in six and half hours as The Kodama or "The Echo" Limited Express until the bullet train was born in 1964.
